LABORATORY OF SOCIAL COGNITION
We are a group of research in Social Cognition, with a remarkable multi-disciplinary approach. We are interested in processes of social interaction in which the dehumanization and social exclusion are involved.
Our work
Our research group addresses several areas of study, including the analysis of the dehumanization from the perspective of social cognition, flexible, processes of emotional regulation, perspective taking, and the processes of mentalization, and the impact of dehumanization in different areas of application. We integrate the study of correlates of neurological and physiological in these processes of social cognition. The ultimate goal is to understand these phenomena from a multidisciplinary approach to improve the approach of psychosocial problems and to promote a society that is more inclusive and just.
